The Shift Leader assists the General Manager or Person In Charge with management activities, ensuring team members meet job responsibilities. Key duties include delivering quality customer service, supporting sales and profitability goals, complying with company policies, and enhancing team skills. Success in this role requires planning, team building, and problem-solving abilities, along with the capacity to communicate effectively and implement process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Approximately two (2) to three (3) years of experience and/or education in restaurant management
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- Team building skills
- Investigative and problem solving skills
- Ability to troubleshoot cash handling problems
- Reliable personal transportation and valid driver's license
- Telephone or reliable communication method with the restaurant
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to identify and implement process improvement strategies
