Job Summary
The Shift Leader assists the General Manager or Person In Charge with management activities within a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities include ensuring quality customer service, maximizing sales and profits, supporting Crew Persons in their roles, complying with company policies, and attending training sessions. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of relevant experience, strong planning, problem-solving, and team-building skills, and must possess a high school diploma or GED.
Required Qualifications
- Approximately two (2) to three (3) years of experience and/or education demonstrating knowledge of restaurant management
- High School Diploma/General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- Team building skills
- Investigative and problem solving skills
- Ability to troubleshoot cash handling problems
- Reliable personal transportation, valid driver's license and proof of insurance
- Ability to communicate effectively with various contacts
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
Desired Qualifications
- Bi-lingual skills a plus
- Ability to identify and implement process improvement strategies
