Job Summary
The Shift Leader assists the General Manager with management activities, ensuring consistent support of the restaurant’s business plan. Key responsibilities include providing quality product and customer service, improving Crew Persons’ performance, maximizing sales and profits, complying with policies, and demonstrating effective communication skills. Candidates should have 2-3 years of relevant experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and strong planning, team-building, and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- Approximately two (2) to three (3) years of any combination of experience and/or education demonstrating a commanding knowledge of restaurant management
- High School Diploma/General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- Team building skills
- Investigative and problem solving skills
- Ability to troubleshoot cash handling problems
- Reliable personal transportation, valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
- A telephone or other reliable method of communicating with the restaurant
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to identify and implement process improvement strategies
