Job Summary
The Shift Leader assists the General Manager or Person In Charge with management activities in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities include ensuring quality service and customer satisfaction, improving the performance of Crew Persons, maximizing sales and profits, leading work shift activities, and complying with company policies. This role requires adept planning, problem-solving, and team-building skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively and implement process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Approximately two (2) to three (3) years of restaurant management experience and/or education
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- Team building skills
- Investigative and problem solving skills
- Ability to troubleshoot cash handling problems
- Reliable personal transportation, a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to identify and implement process improvement strategies
Desired Qualifications
- Bi-lingual skills a plus
