Job Summary
The Shift Leader assists the General Manager in management activities, ensuring consistent quality and customer satisfaction in the restaurant. Responsibilities include improving Crew Persons' performance, maximizing sales and profits, complying with company policies, and demonstrating effective communication skills. This role requires strong planning, team building, problem solving, and analytical skills, along with the ability to implement process improvements and manage cash handling effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Approximately two (2) to three (3) years of experience or education in restaurant management
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- Team building skills
- Investigative and problem solving skills
- Ability to troubleshoot cash handling problems
- Reliable personal transportation and valid driver’s license with Proof of insurance
- Communication accessibility with the restaurant
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to identify and implement process improvement strategies
Desired Qualifications
- Bi-lingual skills a plus
Additional Requirements
- Must have a telephone or other reliable method of communicating with the restaurant
- Must maintain an open door policy
