Job Summary
The Shift Leader assists the General Manager or Person In Charge with management activities in the restaurant. Primary responsibilities include ensuring customer satisfaction, improving Crew Persons' skills, and leading efforts to maximize sales and minimize costs. The role requires compliance with company policies, strong communication skills, and participation in training and meetings. Candidates should have 2-3 years of relevant experience, a high school diploma, and be proficient in problem solving and team building.
Required Qualifications
- Approximately two (2) to three (3) years of experience in restaurant management or related fields
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- Team building skills
- Investigative and problem solving skills
- Ability to troubleshoot cash handling problems
- Reliable personal transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain an open door policy
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
Desired Qualifications
- Bi-lingual skills a plus
- Ability to identify and implement process improvement strategies with positive business results
