Job Summary
The Shift Leader assists the General Manager with management activities to ensure restaurant operations align with the business plan, overseeing Crew Persons and Team Leaders. Key responsibilities include providing quality customer service, improving team skills, maximizing sales and profits, and adhering to company policies. Candidates should have 2-3 years of restaurant management experience, demonstrated planning and team-building skills, effective communication abilities, and a high school diploma.
Required Qualifications
- Approximately two (2) to three (3) years of restaurant management experience and/or education
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- Team building skills
- Investigative and problem solving skills
- Ability to troubleshoot cash handling problems
- Reliable personal transportation and valid driver’s license
- Communication method with the restaurant
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Bi-lingual skills a plus
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to identify and implement process improvement strategies
