Job Summary
The Shift Leader assists the General Manager with management duties, ensuring consistent quality product and customer service. Responsibilities include improving crew performance, maximizing sales and profits, complying with company policies, and effective communication. Ideal candidates possess 2-3 years of restaurant management experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and skills in planning, team building, troubleshooting, and problem-solving. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Approximately two (2) to three (3) years of experience in restaurant management or related education
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- Team building skills
- Investigative and problem solving skills
- Ability to troubleshoot cash handling problems
- Reliable personal transportation
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
- Telephone or other reliable communication method with the restaurant
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to identify and implement process improvement strategies
Desired Qualifications
- Bi-lingual skills a plus
