Job Summary
The Shift Leader assists the General Manager with management duties and ensures that Crew Persons and Team Leaders perform responsibly. Key responsibilities include delivering quality customer service, improving team performance, maximizing sales and profits, and complying with company policies. Essential skills include planning, team building, problem-solving, and effective communication. The position requires a high school diploma, relevant experience in restaurant management, and open accessibility to meet restaurant needs.
Required Qualifications
- Approximately two (2) to three (3) years of experience in restaurant management or relevant education
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- Team building skills
- Investigative and problem solving skills
- Ability to troubleshoot cash handling problems
- Reliable personal transportation and valid driver’s license with proof of insurance
- Effective communication skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to identify and implement process improvement strategies
