Job Summary

The Shift Leader assists the General Manager with management duties and supports the Restaurant Management Team. Responsibilities include providing quality customer service, improving Crew Persons' skills, maximizing sales and profits, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The position requires effective communication skills, planning and time management abilities, and problem-solving skills. Candidates should have approximately two to three years of relevant experience and a high school diploma. Physical demands include standing for long periods and lifting up to 75 lbs.

Required Qualifications

  • Approximately two (2) to three (3) years of any combination of experience and/or education in restaurant management
  • High School Diploma/General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
  • Excellent planning and time management skills
  • Team building skills
  • Investigative and problem solving skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot cash handling problems
  • Reliable personal transportation, a valid driver's license, and proof of insurance
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the restaurant
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvement strategies

  • Bi-lingual skills

Additional Requirements

  • Must have a telephone or other reliable method of communicating with the restaurant
  • Must be accessible to meet the restaurant's needs and maintain an open door policy
