Job Summary
The Shift Leader plays a vital role in assisting the General Manager with various management activities within the restaurant. Responsibilities include ensuring quality customer service, improving Crew Persons' performance, assisting in maximizing sales, and complying with company policies. The ideal candidate should possess strong planning, communication, and problem-solving skills along with a solid knowledge of restaurant management. This position requires a commitment to teamwork, organizational skills, and the ability to troubleshoot effectively.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years experience in restaurant management or related field
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- Team building skills
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to troubleshoot cash handling problems
- Reliable personal transportation with a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
- Accessibility for restaurant needs and maintaining an open door policy
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to identify and implement process improvement strategies
