Job Summary
Provide friendly and attentive service to all guests throughout the visit; take orders, enter them into the POS (Toast), and follow up with the kitchen as needed. Anticipate guest needs and note preferences; prepare drinks for the dining room; handle guest situations with empathy and elevate to a manager as necessary. Complete opening, mid, and closing procedures, maintain daily checklists and side work; organize money and receipts per cash handling policy. Keep restaurant areas clean and organized by following cleaning checklists; assist with setting up patio furniture and outdoor fixtures as applicable. This role requires cross-training across dining room and retail spaces and offers benefits such as health coverage, PTO, 401k match, and commuter benefits. The hourly pay range is $18.00-$22.00 plus tips where eligible.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 6 months of related restaurant experience or training
- Experience with POS systems, especially Toast, a plus
- Flexibility in schedule is highly preferred but not required
- Ability to be cross‐trained in all areas of the dining room and retail space preferred
- Ability to speak, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
