Job Summary
Support the Store Manager in daily store operations by maintaining high standards for food quality, customer service, and store cleanliness. Greet, assist, and thank every customer while empowering employees to meet performance and profit goals. Assist with hiring, training, and development of store staff, and motivate Customer Service Representatives to complete daily tasks. Complete daily paperwork and computer entry, and assume responsibility for special assignments as needed. This role is a key partner in ensuring brand standards and employee satisfaction within a local convenience store environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Computer literacy
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays as needed by the business, as well as work the site alone, as required
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Successful completion of store training
- Previous experience supervising others, preferred
- Food service experience preferred, ideally in a managerial role
- ServSafe certification preferred or successful completion of certification within 2 months of hire
- Focus on customer service and commitment to teamwork
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to communicate with employees, customers, and vendors
- Ethical, honest, trustworthy, respectful, compassionate, supportive, and patient
- Open to 2nd shift and weekends
