Job Summary
Shift Leader at a Chick-fil-A restaurant requires leading a 15-20 member team, opening and closing shifts, and maintaining high standards of service and safety. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years previous Restaurant Leadership experience is required
- ServSafe Certification is preferred
- Be able to open and close the restaurant (paid training will accomplish this)
- Work at least 30 hours a week (flexible with school schedules)
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays
- Lead a team of 15-20 people simultaneously
- Adhere to Chick-fil-A and NC DHEC Food Safety standards
- Exhibit exceptional customer service/hospitality characteristics
- Be servant-hearted and coachable
- Lead and assist in operations to meet labor cost, food cost and customer service metric goals
- Believe in a total team mentality with FOH and BOH duties including cooking, cleaning, food preparation and serving guests
- Coach team members to maintain consistency in food and service to increase sales and hospitality
- Work with management to enforce employment policies
- Review and monitor financial and operating performance and implement corrective actions
