Job Summary
Coordinate daily production activities for Armagel AXG product lines to meet targets while ensuring strict adherence to safety, quality standards, and WCM/WAM initiatives. Monitor line performance, drive key performance indicators including OEE, yield, and scrap reduction, and execute PAP projects to improve efficiencies and reduce material loss. Manage shift operations by planning manpower, resolving breakdowns, and supporting trials and new product development. Prepare daily production reports, circulate performance updates, and maintain accurate ERP transactions. Lead the shift team in continuous improvement activities and ensure full compliance with SOPs, risk assessments, and statutory requirements. Work three shifts including night shift in a chemical manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/BE in any Engineering Mechanical/Production/Chemical field
- 3 - 5 Yrs
- Experience in the role of Shift Leader in a Chemical Manufacturing unit
- Strong execution and coordination skills
- Problem-solving and analytical ability
- People management and teamwork
- Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing / continuous improvement
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in shifts and handle shopfloor challenges
- Result-oriented and proactive approach
- Language skills English, Hindi, Marathi or any other Indian Language
- Experienced in dynamic and fast-paced work environments
- Required to work in 3 shifts including night shift
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in SAP
- Knowledge of SAP or production reporting systems preferred
