Shift Leader

Job Summary
Shift Leader supervises restaurant Crew Members during shifts to ensure customer satisfaction and profitability. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate orders, maintaining high-quality products, enforcing policies, maintaining restaurant image and cleanliness, managing cash and safety procedures, coaching and providing feedback, monitoring cost controls, and completing daily documentation. The role involves opening/closing duties, working a hands-on management style, and lifting and moving requirements as part of daily operations. Requires prior experience in food service or retail, 18+ years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math, strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work a 20–30 hour week schedule. Training and background verification are required; candidate must be eligible to work in the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Have previous experience in restaurants, retail or a position involving customer contact is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma, or equivalent, and possess basic math skills.
- Possess excellent verbal communication and interpersonal relations skills.
- Be dependable, hardworking and have the ability to work under pressure and in stressful situations.
- Be able to work a standard schedule of approximately 20-30 hours per week and be able to perform all the essential functions of the job.
- Have successfully completed the 4-week Shift Leader Training Plan and passed the solo open and close shift evaluations.
- Possess a valid driver's license from the state of residence with a driving record maintained within company guidelines. Possess a reliable vehicle and auto insurance as a primary to complete daily banking and other responsibilities as directed by the Assistant Manager, General Manager or District Manager.
- Meet Apricus Background Verification guidelines.
- The US Department of Homeland Security (USCIS Division) requires that each Shift Leader provide documentation that proves their eligibility to work in the United States.
