Job Summary
Direct and supervise shift activities in the absence of the General Manager to maximize sales, minimize costs, and ensure guest satisfaction. Plan, organize, and implement daily operational routines while completing administrative duties and paperwork. Delegate responsibilities to staff, set high team goals, and resolve guest questions, complaints, and problems efficiently. Perform opening and closing duties as directed, follow POS comp and cash handling procedures, and maintain an environment of trust through open communication. Must be 18 years of age, hold a high school diploma, and be able to lift 40 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in coolers and close quarters. Full-time or part-time with flexible scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs. comfortably
- Able to stand for long periods of time, bend, and stoop
- Comfortable working occasionally in walk-in coolers and freezers
- Vision abilities to include distance, close, color, depth, peripheral as well as the ability to adjust focus
- Ability to operate a computer and/or Cash register
- Must be able to work around heat and work in close quarters with others as well as handle various cleaning products
- Willing to cross-train on various positions within the restaurant
