Job Summary
Direct and supervise shift activities in the absence of the General Manager to maximize sales, minimize costs, and ensure guests receive service beyond expectations. Plan, organize, and implement daily operational routines while completing administrative duties and paperwork. Delegate responsibilities to team members, set high goals, and resolve guest questions, complaints, and problems efficiently. Establish an environment of trust through open communication and consistently provide quality product and guest service. Perform closing and/or opening duties as directed, follow POS comp and cash handling procedures, and cross-train on various restaurant positions. Requires full-time or part-time flexible scheduling, ability to lift 40 lbs, and work in walk-in coolers.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs. comfortably
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, and stoop
- Comfortable working occasionally in walk-in coolers and freezers
- Vision abilities to include distance, close, color, depth, peripheral as well as the ability to adjust focus
- Ability to operate a computer and/or Cash register
- Must be able to work around heat and work in close quarters with others as well as handle various cleaning products
- Willing to cross-train on various positions within the restaurant
