Job Summary
Shift Leader overseeing restaurant operations with responsibilities including supervising and mentoring staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, enforcing food safety and sanitation, managing staffing plans and performance reviews, coordinating with kitchen and management to meet service and financial goals, and maintaining professional appearance and adherence to company standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 2+ years of previous work experience in a high-volume quick service restaurant
- Proficient in restaurant functions: food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, and restaurant safety
- Basic computer knowledge
- Possess basic math skills and have the ability to work a cash register or POS system
- Must pass Food Handlers course and test in compliance with CA state law requirements
- Must be able to transfer to another California Chicken Café location within a 50-mile radius
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
