Job Summary
Shift Lead at S&G Weston Toledo serves as direct support to the Store Manager, ensuring efficient store operations, policy compliance, and sales/profit goals while maintaining asset controls. Responsibilities include providing customer service leadership, greeting customers, enforcing company policies, maintaining a clean and organized store appearance, processing cash and card transactions with integrity, implementing merchandising and marketing programs including plan-o-gram integrity and proper sign placement, ensuring fresh and appealing foodservice products through rotation, monitoring store activities for proper transactions, and responding quickly to emergencies for safety of customers and employees.
Required Qualifications
- Retail Experience / Customer Service Experience Required
- Able to occasionally lift 50 pounds
- Able to frequently lift objects up to 10 pounds
- Able to stand for an entire shift
- Ability to periodically handle routine physical tasks such as climbing, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and/or pulling
- Comfortable working in intermittent temperatures (in-store, outside, cooler)
- Available to work varied shifts including weekends, evenings, and busy periods/holidays
