Job Summary
Direct work flow on the floor during the shift, ensuring superior products are served while anticipating and proactively addressing customer and store needs. Support staff with product knowledge, provide on-the-job education and mentoring, and maintain positivity to promote teamwork and excellent communication within the café. Handle cash with flawless accuracy, including changing registers, counting deposits, and processing bank transactions. Maintain the Shift Lead Communication Log, check deliveries, file invoices, and ensure side work and Hot Corners are addressed. Plan and execute the Lead Guide throughout the shift, maintaining cafe cleanliness and addressing kitchen and bar crew production standards. Requires availability for a minimum 30-hour work week including weekends and holidays, with physical demands involving prolonged standing and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications

- Check in all deliveries and file invoices appropriately
- Ensure that side work and Hot Corners are addressed each shift
- Provide change for registers, count previous deposits, take deposit to bank, maintain backup bank
- Food service training
- Availability for a minimum 30-hour work week
- Available to work weekends and holidays
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift products and packaging overhead and may frequently handle items weighing between 25 and 50 pounds
- Essential vision capabilities for this role encompass close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Adept finger and wrist dexterity
