Job Summary
Shift Lead for a Taco Bell franchisee responsible for running shifts with minimal supervision, solving problems, and guiding team members. Responsibilities include executing the MIC routine, ensuring food safety and order accuracy, maintaining customer satisfaction, supervising attendance and timekeeping, training and developing team members, handling cash control and labor management, maintaining health and safety standards, and performing other duties as assigned. Must be 18+ with a background check and drug test, have reliable transportation, be able to perform basic business math, stock shelves, manage staff, and lift up to 50 lbs. Typical schedule is 30+ hours per week. The role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, customer service, and operational excellence in a fast-food environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must pass background check criteria and drug test.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Able to do basic business math.
- Able to stock shelves and coolers.
- Able to oversee and manage subordinate employees and provide direction.
- Able to sweep and mop floors, dust shelves and lift and carry out trash containers and place in an outside bin.
- Able to clean the parking lot and grounds surrounding the restaurant.
- Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs. and stooping during 90% of shift time.
- Strong preference for internal promote form Hourly Champion position.
