Job Summary
Shift Lead will oversee daily cannabis retail operations, guide and coach staff, and ensure a positive customer experience. Responsibilities include onboarding new retail associates, overseeing transactions and compliance procedures, managing store inventory and restocking, opening and closing the store, maintaining store standards and cleanliness, addressing customer questions, explaining cannabis effects to customers, protecting company assets, setting up display cases, handling online orders and phone inquiries promptly, and maintaining a positive, inclusive work environment. Requires strong customer service and communication skills, proficiency with POS systems, and cannabis knowledge; minimum high school diploma or GED; 21+ to work; ability to pass background checks and travel minimally within a retail setting.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent
- 1+ years of supervisory or team lead experience in a retail, hospitality, or cannabis environment
- Proficiency with POS systems
- Marijuana knowledge strongly preferred
- Must be over 21 years of age
- Can legally work in the United States
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must have a valid State-Issued ID or U.S. Passport
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have no scheduling restrictions
- Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of all pre-employment background checks
