Job Summary
A team lead oversees shift operations and sales performance, supervising 1–8 team members, deploying staff to meet business demands, and ensuring guest service standards and brand execution. Responsibilities include coordinating staffing, coaching and training team members, communicating product knowledge to guests, managing cash handling and inventories, and performing opening/closing tasks with emphasis on safety and security. The role requires prior food/retail service experience, basic computer and POS skills, strong communication, the ability to work under pressure, and physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Current High School enrollment, High School graduate or GED
- Must be 18 years of age
- Food/retail service experience
- Computer skills including some Microsoft software and register skills
- Physical ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods
- Read and visually verify information
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Ability to be mobile in walk-in refrigerator and freezer
- Flexibility in the wrist to scoop, twist, push, pull, lift, and bend
