Job Summary
Shift Lead assists the store manager in planning, directing and controlling store operations and supervising employees to manage production, inventory, merchandising, losses, and profitability. Responsible for supervising product ordering to fill the store, supporting sales plans, maximizing sales, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Handles hiring, firing, promotions, demotions, and disciplinary actions for all store employees. Oversees budgeting-related activities, reads and interprets financial statements (e.g., profit and loss), provides direction to staff, develops policies, trains and supervises employees, conducts meetings to communicate business results, and manages cash handling and POS operations. Requires good interpersonal skills, leadership, reliability, and willingness to travel to and from work. May work up to long days (normally up to 10 hours) and be on 24-hour call. Travel to and from work; read and interpret financial statements; set objectives; supervise, recruit and train staff; schedule and report on performance; interact with vendors and employees.

- Experience in supervising employees and conducting meetings to communicate results
