Shift Lead

Shift Lead assists the store manager in planning, directing and controlling the operation of the store and supervision of employees to control production, inventory, merchandising, losses, gross and net profit and hours of work in all departments. They assist in supervising the ordering of product to fill the store, support sales plans, and maximize sales, in addition to insuring compliance with state and federal regulations. They are responsible for all hiring, firing, promotions, demotions and disciplinary actions for all employees. Travel to & from work. Age 18+. Normal maximum 10 hour days. On 24 hour call. Read, write, add, subtract, multiply and divide. Develop and enforce company policies and procedures. Able to program a cash register and balance store cash. Conduct meetings to communicate business results and direction to employees. Experience in supervising, recruiting and training of employees. Able to interpret profit and loss statements and set objectives to overcome deficiencies. Experience with equipment operation, vendors, and working with diverse teams.
