Job Summary
Oversee the safety, care, and around-the-clock supervision of students in the program through Senior Coach Counselors, Coach Counselors, and Night Coach Counselors. Direct both students and staff to meet service expectations while evaluating performance, rewarding or disciplining employees as needed. Provide direct care hours to at-risk youth, creating a supportive environment that addresses their needs. Work a 3.5 days on/3.5 days off schedule, including Sunday through Tuesday from 8 am to 10 pm with a 2-hour break and Wednesday from 8 am to 4 pm. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Human Services or related field (for example, Criminal Justice, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Family Studies, and/or Human Development)
- At least 2 years of experience working directly with at risk-youth in a residential home, juvenile detention, or treatment facility setting
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Internal applicants must have been employed by Rite of Passage for 1 year and have no less than standard performance/no corrective disciplinary actions within the past 6 months
- External applicants must have at least 1 year of supervisory experience as a full-time employee (or 2,080 hours of supervisory experience) with at-risk youth in a residential home, juvenile detention, or treatment facility setting
- Schedule: Looking to fill A shift with a schedule of 3.5/days on and 3.5 days off
- Sunday -Tuesday from 8 am to 10 pm with a 2-hour break, and Wednesday from 8 am to 4 pm
