Job Summary
Shift Lead at Stopandgo/S&G stores serves as direct support to the Store Manager, ensuring efficient operation and compliance with laws and company policies. Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service leadership, ensuring adherence to policies, maintaining a clean and organized store, handling cash/card transactions with integrity, responding to emergencies, executing merchandising and marketing programs with planogram integrity, monitoring store activity for proper transactions, and ensuring fresh foodservice products through rotation. Requires retail or customer service experience, ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, standing, climbing), and availability for varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Retail experience / Customer Service Experience Required
- Able to occasionally lift 50 pounds
- Able to frequently lift objects up to 10 pounds
- Able to stand for an entire shift
- Ability to periodically handle routine physical tasks such as climbing, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and/or pulling
- Comfortable working in intermittent temperatures for short periods (in-store, outside, cooler)
- Available to work various shifts including weekends, evenings, holidays
