Job Summary

Shift Lead at S&G serves as direct support to the Store Manager, ensuring smooth store operations and compliance with policies. Responsibilities include delivering excellent customer service, greeting customers, enforcing company policies, maintaining a clean and organized store, handling cash and card transactions with integrity, ensuring merchandising and marketing programs are properly implemented (including plan-o-gram integrity and sign placement), rotating foodservice products to maintain freshness, monitoring store activities for proper transactions, and responding quickly to emergencies for customer and employee safety. The role requires retail or customer service experience, ability to lift and stand for shifts, and flexibility to work various shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Required Qualifications

  • Retail Experience / Customer Service Experience Required
  • Able to occasionally lift 50 pounds
  • Able to frequently lift objects up to 10 pounds
  • Able to stand for an entire shift
  • Ability to periodically handle routine physical task such as climbing, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and/or pulling
  • Comfortable working in intermittent temperatures for short periods of time
  • Available to work various shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays
