Job Summary
Shift Lead at S&G serves as direct support to the Store Manager, ensuring store operations are efficient, compliant with laws and company policies, and that assets are protected. Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service leadership, greeting customers, enforcing policies, keeping the store clean and organized, processing cash and card transactions with integrity, implementing merchandising and plan-o-gram standards, maintaining fresh foodservice products through proper rotation, observing transactions for proper procedures, and responding quickly to emergencies for safety. The role involves supervising employees, promoting sales and profits, and working with the Store Manager to maximize performance across store operations.
Required Qualifications
- Retail Experience / Customer Service Experience Required
- Able to occasionally lift 50 pounds
- Able to frequently lift objects up to 10 pounds
- Able to stand for an entire shift
- Ability to periodically handle routine physical task such as climbing, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and/or pulling
- Comfortable working in intermittent temperatures for short periods of time
- Available to work various shifts including weekends, evenings, and busy periods/holidays
