Job Summary
Shift Lead at S&G store serving as direct support to the Store Manager to ensure efficient operation, compliance with policies and laws, and achievement of sales/profit goals. Responsibilities include delivering excellent customer service, greeting customers, enforcing company policies, maintaining a clean and organized store, accurately processing cash and card transactions, implementing merchandising and marketing programs (including plan-o-gram integrity and sign placement), ensuring foodservice products are fresh through proper rotation, monitoring store activities for proper transactions, and responding promptly to emergencies for safety and security. Requires retail or customer service experience, physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and stand for full shifts, ability to perform routine physical tasks, tolerance for intermittent temperatures, and availability for varied shifts including weekends/evenings/holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Retail Experience / Customer Service Experience Required
- Able to occasionally lift 50 pounds
- Able to frequently lift objects up to 10 pounds
- Able to stand for an entire shift
- Ability to periodically handle routine physical tasks such as climbing, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and/or pulling
- Comfortable working in intermittent temperatures in store/outside/cooler
- Available to work various shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays
