Job Summary
Execute restaurant operations in conjunction with the General Manager, maintaining brand image through cleanliness, maintenance, and excellent service. Treat all team members with respect while encouraging consistent delivery of high-quality food and guest service. Work with the team to drive profitable sales growth, analyze operational and financial performance using management tools, and monitor costs against budget goals. Assist in training internal candidates and employees to ensure adherence to operational standards, food safety requirements, and state/federal labor laws. Respond to guest questions, concerns, and complaints professionally, escalating issues to the General Manager as needed.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6+ months of restaurant operations experience
- Must complete Shift Lead training classes
- ServSafe certified (in certain states)
- Ability to communicate in English
- Fundamental reading, writing, math and computer/POS skills
- Access to adequate transportation
- Must be willing to work a variety of shifts, sometimes exceeding beyond eight hours, based on operating hours
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, climb, and/or lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to operate/access equipment at standard heights while walking or standing during entire shift
