Job Summary
Direct store operations by opening and closing the store, managing team members across all departments, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and loss prevention standards. Handle customer service by resolving complaints, conducting front-end administrative tasks like cash counting and gift card sales, and responding to vendor deliveries. Perform essential duties including stocking inventory, sanitation, and emergency management while documenting results for the Store Manager. Escalate employee issues and disciplinary actions as needed. This role requires flexibility for multiple locations, on-call availability, and adherence to a uniform dress code.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Comprehensive product knowledge
- Previous training / supervisory experience
- Proficiency in basic math skills
- Must be able to read, write and speak in English
- Demonstrate effective oral and written communication
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills
- Must be dependable
- Must be flexible
- Ability to travel to multiple work locations
- Must adhere to uniform dress code
- Requires the ability to reach, bend, balance, lift and transport various objects weighing 20-50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift
- Must have the ability to stand, walk and / or move about for extended periods of time
- Requires the ability to push, pull, grasp, twist and use sawing motions for extended periods of time
- Regularly works in freezers, coolers, refrigerators, inside and outside of the store in all weather conditions and inside delivery trucks
