Job Summary
Lead the shift by managing team operations, assisting with POS upselling, and ensuring guests meet their fitness and nutrition goals through smoothie selection and friendly engagement. Maintain store standards by adhering to brand identity, completing checklist tasks, and blending smoothies according to recipe tickets. Handle cash and inventory reporting with honesty while keeping the store clean and following food safety regulations. Operate the blender and cashier system, move boxes up to 55 lbs, and navigate refrigeration units from 40° F to -10° F. Inform the General Manager of significant issues and encourage team members to exceed goals.
Required Qualifications
- 6 or more months Guest Service experience in a restaurant or retail environment
- Ability to lead both by example and direction in a fast paced environment
- Ability to tolerate exposure to a wide variety of fresh, dried and/or frozen products and powdered substances, including, but not limited to, strawberries, bananas, peanuts, tree nuts (such as almonds), milk, soy, proteins, grains, and spices without posing a direct threat to personal health and safety
- Ability to follow procedures and willingness to comply with dress code requirements
- Ability to keep the store clean and follow food safety regulations
- Ability to operate a blender and POS cashier system
- Ability to move boxes, weighing up to 55 lbs throughout the store
- Ability to position self to bend, reach and scoop through assigned shifts
- Ability to be mobile in walk-in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° F
