Job Summary
Shift Lead at Nothing Bundt Cakes collaborates with the Bakery Manager and Assistant Bakery Manager to drive guest experience, cake production, brand presentation, and inventory control. Responsible for directing daily work, providing performance coaching, ensuring food safety and NbC standards, assisting with scheduling, cash handling, and opening/closing duties, and contributing to community events. Requires strong guest focus, leadership, teamwork, organized problem-solving, and proficiency with Word/Excel/Outlook; prior guest-facing experience in retail/food service is preferred. Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays, is expected.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is a plus
- 1-3 years of guest-facing experience in a retail, restaurant or food service environment preferred
- Demonstrated success creating a superior guest experience and coaching others to do the same, training new team members, directing the work of others, and achieving productivity goals
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, with comfort in learning new technologies
