Job Summary

Supervise and coordinate the site-based engineering team for inspection, operation, and maintenance of critical facilities assets, including HV&LV switching and MEP systems. Manage specialist vendor planned, reactive, and corrective works, ensuring all activities comply with statutory regulations and contractual SLAs. Operate the Corrigo CMMS system to track work orders, monitor shift outputs, and generate daily technical reports on system availability. Lead safety compliance, conduct quality assurance audits of completed works, and manage critical spares inventory. Complete shift handover reports, escalate operational issues, and facilitate weekly operations and client meetings as requested.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Critical Environments such as Banking HQ and Data Centres
  • Authorised Person (High Voltage & Low Voltage)
  • Electrical/Mechanical Engineering HNC or HND (Successfully completed apprenticeship in either)
  • C&G Pts. 1 & 2, equivalent or exceeds
  • BS 7671 (Current Edition)
  • C&G 2391 Inspection, Test and Certification (Or equivalent)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to deal with all levels of staff
  • Ability to lead, motivate and direct a small team of engineers
  • Ability to comprehend and act upon both verbal and written instructions
  • Integrity, honesty and punctuality
  • Willingness to attend on and off-site training for MEP assets, this may require nights away from home due to the nature of the specialist training such as Authorised Person Training

Desired Qualifications

  • Extensive understanding of Critical Facilities/Data Centre infrastructure (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & associated assets)
