Job Summary
Provide friendly and attentive service to all guests throughout the visit, receive and enter food and beverage orders correctly into the POS, and follow up with the kitchen as necessary. Anticipate guest needs, note preferences, prepare drinks for the dining room, and handle guest situations with empathy by elevating to a manager as required. Complete all opening, mid, and closing procedures, organize money and receipts per cash handling policy, and maintain cleanliness by following checklists. Assist with patio furniture setup and outside fixture maintenance if applicable. Maintain full knowledge of pastry, bread, kitchen, beverage, and retail items. This role supports The Little Beet's mission to offer simple, nutritious food quickly, fostering a supportive team culture within Convive Brands' portfolio of restaurant concepts.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 6 months of related restaurant experience or training
- Ability to speak, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with POS systems, especially Toast, a plus
- Flexibility in schedule
- Ability to be cross‐trained in all areas of the dining room and retail space
