Job Summary
Shift Lead responsibilities include providing friendly guest service, accurately taking and relaying food and beverage orders via POS, anticipating guest needs, maintaining knowledge of menu items, preparing drinks, handling guest situations with empathy, and supporting opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and daily checklists. The role requires ability to be cross-trained in dining room and retail spaces, flexibility in schedule, and strong communication with kitchen and management to ensure a smooth guest experience in a NYC Convive Brands restaurant.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 6 months of related restaurant experience or training
- Experience with POS systems, especially Toast
