Job Summary
Oversee restaurant operations by focusing on quality food and service, enforcing policies, and ensuring employees follow the "Burgermaster way." Run the line, manage break schedules, and coordinate station assignments while acting as the center of communication for the kitchen. Assist with food and labor costs by reducing waste, optimizing staffing, and completing prep work and cleaning checklists. Report issues regarding attitude, behavior, and attendance through the incident reporting process or to the Manager. Switch stations as needed to support the team and attend required supervisor trainings. Requires previous supervisory experience, food handlers permit within 7 days, and ServeSafe certification within a year. Work involves prolonged standing, lifting 50 pounds, and long hours including nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience
- Ability to read English and comprehend simple instructions
- Familiarity with food handling, safety, and other restaurant guidelines
- Food handlers permit
- ServeSafe certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times
- Must be comfortable working long hours, including nights and weekends
