Job Summary
Shift Lead – hourly management role in a restaurant. Responsibilities include supervising operations, training employees, driving customer service, maintaining cleanliness and food safety, managing opening/closing tasks, cash handling, inventory, and ensuring standards are met across shifts. Provides coaching to team members, responds to guest service needs, and operates shifts to standard. Skills emphasized: customer service, food safety compliance, supervision, multitasking, teamwork, and strong communication.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old or older.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of 6 months in a shift management or supervisory role, preferably in a service related business.
- Legal right to work in the United States.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written).
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
- Positive, friendly, and courteous attitude.
