Job Summary
Lead team members on shifts by assigning tasks for cleaning, line duties, and opening/closing procedures while providing feedback and training. Execute security procedures, transition into opening/closing duties, and manage the line by delegating duties to team members. Resolve guest complaints/issues and ensure a pleasant dining experience by upholding product quality standards. Control food costs, labor, waste, and cash by counting drawers and following daily handling procedures. Adhere to a consistent schedule, support appropriate personnel policies and safety procedures, and execute all food safety requirements. Maintain ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years' experience in the restaurant industry
- Must be friendly and guest service oriented
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Must have a positive attitude and ethics which support our values and culture
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have a sense of urgency
- Must be a strong team player
- Able to understand English and to follow simple verbal direction
- Ability to train and coach others
- Detail orientated
- Organized and efficient
- Learns quickly and has ability to take direction
- High quality standards for production and service
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Ability to work productively with little supervision in a team environment
- Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated and organized
- Commitment to quality service, and food and beverage knowledge
- Must possess neat and clean hygiene
- Valid Food Handler Certificate required
- Valid State Alcohol Server Certificate required (unless state minimum age restriction)
- Must be able to work nights, weekends and some holidays
- Must comply with dress standards
- Authorization to work in the USA
