Job Summary

Support the Shift Supervisor in carrying out daily production and operational activities, guiding team members by resolving workflow issues to meet production and shipping goals. Coordinate daily tasks, verify materials and equipment for production runs, and communicate status updates to leadership and other departments. Serve as a resource for employees when leadership is absent, ensuring smooth operations while promoting adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices and safety standards. Identify and report equipment concerns promptly and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires bilingual English/Spanish proficiency and the ability to work nights, weekends, or overtime in a manufacturing environment with extended shifts from 2pm to 10pm.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, or overtime, based on operational needs
  • Ability to frequently lift to 40 lbs., carry, or move heavy objects as required by production operations
  • Regular and consistent use of manual dexterity for handling materials, tools, and equipment
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods of time throughout the shift
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing and packaging environment with exposure to moving machinery, equipment, and production lines
  • Moderate to high noise levels; appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed shoes must be worn as required
  • Strong presence on the production floor to monitor operations and support team members throughout the shift
  • Monday to Friday 2pm-10pm

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate degree or relevant technical training
  • 2–4 years of experience in a manufacturing, packaging, or production environment
  • Prior lead or team coordination experience
  • Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Solid understanding of production processes, safety protocols, and quality inspection methods
  • Demonstrated ability to guide and support team members while maintaining focus on efficiency, safety, and product quality
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across shifts and departments
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot workflow issues and make sound decisions within established guidelines
  • Able to stay organized and manage tasks effectively throughout the shift
