Job Summary

Night-shift Electrician responsible for maintaining equipment used to produce Steelscape’s steel products, performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting in pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems, with emphasis on AC/DC electrical, PLC and instrumentation. Duties include locating trouble sources in electrical equipment by tracing and testing circuits, dismantling and repairing wiring and components (switches, circuit breakers, transformers, motors, panel boards, etc.), rewiring and reassembling equipment, calibrations and test setups, interpreting instrumentation and safety drawings, and logging work in SAP. Requires working knowledge of PLC and control equipment, adherence to LO/TO safety standards, and advancement toward Level 1–4 Electrical Qualifications within defined timelines. Must be able to operate forklifts and overhead cranes, perform mechanical repairs when needed, and support planned maintenance objectives. Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience on continuous metal processing lines is required; HS diploma or GED required; preferred: Certified Electrician or equivalent technical training; salary is $44.31/hour with benefits and arbitration agreement. The role is based in Rancho Cucamonga, CA on a night shift (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and alternating Wednesdays).
