Job Summary
Operate and monitor functional odour abatement systems and the SCADA system while maintaining waste treatment facility assets and associated infrastructure. Manage preventative, predictive, and lifecycle maintenance activities across the Leyland facility's 5-shift system. Utilize centralised maintenance management systems and mobile plant equipment, including MEWP, to support operational continuity. Requires ONC/HNC electrical qualifications, confined spaces training, and working at height certification. Apply for the position by Friday 21st August 2026 with proof of UK work eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- ONC/HNC Electrical qualification or the equivalent experience with supporting qualifications
- Knowledge of preventative, predictive & lifecycle maintenance activities
- Proficiency in using various computer-based systems including Microsoft Office applications
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
- Satisfactory completion of a Company medical which includes testing for drugs and alcohol
- Must be willing to undertake any training required for the role
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of utilising a centralised maintenance management system
- Knowledge of waste processing plants, FMCG, chemical or industrial machinery
- Experience driving Mobile Plant equipment specifically; MEWP
- Qualified in confined spaces training
- Certified in working at height training
- Experience and knowledge of Odour abatement systems
- Experience with SCADA operations
