Job Summary
Shift Coordinator is an hourly, non-exempt role that supports management with shift planning and execution in a full-service restaurant. The position requires following the Shift Coordinator certification program, leading and training team members, enforcing company standards and safety policies, coordinating interviews for hourly staff, handling POS and cash procedures, data entry and invoice processing, and ensuring guest satisfaction through effective communication, guest feedback handling, and consistent checklists and task completion.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma preferred
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Valid Driver’s License
- 18+ years of age
- Possession of or the ability to possess all state-required work cards
- Minimum of one (2) years related experience
- Familiarity with Opentable
- Proper lifting techniques
- Guest relations
- Sanitation and safety
- Safe alcohol service
- Full-service restaurant operations
- Ability to communicate effectively and assertively in the English language, both verbally and in writing with staff, clients, and the public
