Job Summary
Shift Coordinator 1 responsible for guiding and auditing production processes to meet specifications, maintaining positive relationships with employees, ensuring safety and quality standards, inspecting products/shipments, reviewing production samples, assisting with continuous improvement initiatives, maintaining records, and coordinating cross-departmental activities. Requires ability to train new employees/contract workers, use MS Office tools, communicate effectively across teams, manage deadlines, and lift/push/move items as needed in a manufacturing setting.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing/operations environment
- Basic knowledge of technology including computers and software programs (MS Office, MAC word processing, spreadsheets)
- Adequate oral and written communication skills to communicate across departments
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workload
- Ability to regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 50 pounds, and rarely over 50 pounds
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure; compute rate, ratio, and percentages
- Ability to interact with a variety of internal/external customers and/or co-workers at required level of detail
- Attention to safety, quality, and production requirements
- Experience assisting with training for new employees, contract workers, and/or guests
- Ability to work in a manufacturing/production environment
- Compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and program objectives
