Job Summary
Conduct all brewhouse operations on the 15BBL manual system, including wort production, beer transfers, and CIP tank cleaning. Manage cellar duties such as dry hopping, carbonation, and keg cleaning while maintaining low dissolved oxygen levels. Report mechanical issues to maintenance and assist with ingredient organization, forklift operation, and general brewery tasks as needed. Monday through Friday with occasional weekend work; rotating shifts from 6am–2:30pm or 10:30am–7pm. Join a small, close-knit production team prioritizing craftsmanship, safety, and continuous improvement in craft beer.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Safely operate a motor vehicle and forklift
- Be able to work in hot, humid, and wet conditions
- Communicate information clearly both verbally and in writing
- Stand, sit, and walk for extended periods
- Frequently use hands to reach, grasp, handle, and manipulate objects
- Bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and maintain balance
- Lift and carry up to 60 pounds and move up to 155 pounds
- Perform work requiring manual dexterity and occasional overhead reaching
- Maintain close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision with the ability to adjust focus
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years of production brewing experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Brewing, Chemistry, or a related science preferred
- Forklift experience
- A strong commitment to quality, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement
- Passion for craft beer
