Job Summary
Conduct vehicle maintenance and shuttling, maintain confidentiality, and create professional documentation while using office tools. Contribute to report writing, support training, and observe court testimony. Provide community law enforcement education, monitor weather and environment conditions, assist in investigations, and support evidence custodians. Deploy equipment in the community, support tobacco sales compliance, manage traffic control, and assist with foot patrols. Develop public relations materials, review traffic and crime data, and execute follow-up efforts. Perform tasks as directed by the Sheriff, including occasional outdoor activities in seasonal weather extremes. Requires reliable attendance, minimal supervision, and ability to work with up to 25 pounds of force. Seasonal, non-exempt role for juniors entering senior year, Monday through Friday with some evenings and weekends.
