SHEQ Coordinator

Job Summary
Manage the Integrated Management System (IMS) by maintaining document control processes, coordinating updates for ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and National Grid requirements, and supporting internal and external audits. Develop and maintain SharePoint environments, including document libraries, workflows, and dashboards, while ensuring governance controls and record retention compliance. Create and update Power BI dashboards covering safety, environmental, quality, and operational assurance metrics, utilizing Excel, Power Automate, and Power Query to automate reporting and analyze incident trends. Conduct data validation, establish governance standards, and deliver training on Microsoft 365 tools to operational teams. Assist in digital transformation initiatives to automate manual processes and enhance SHEQ performance across the Power Transmission & Distribution business.
Required Qualifications
- Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent
- Qualification in Information Management, Data Analytics, Business Systems or related discipline
- Advanced Microsoft Excel qualification or demonstrable experience
- Experience managing SharePoint environments
- Experience creating and maintaining Power BI dashboards
- Advanced Microsoft 365 skills
- Strong understanding of Excel
- Strong understanding of Power Query
- Strong understanding of Power Automate
- Strong understanding of Forms
- Strong understanding of Teams
- Experience managing large datasets
- Experience producing management information and KPI reports
- Strong document control and governance experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability

Desired Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
- SharePoint Administrator
- Power Platform Fundamentals
- Internal Auditor qualification
- ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 awareness training
- Experience within utilities, construction, infrastructure or power sectors
- Knowledge of SHEQ management systems
- Experience supporting ISO-certified management systems
- Familiarity with EcoOnline or similar SHEQ software platforms
- Understanding of National Grid and DNO contractor environments
