SHEQ Coordinator

Job Summary
Support site management in maintaining compliance with local legislation, regulatory requirements, and internal SHEQ standards through regular safety walks, site inspections, and incident investigations. Deliver site inductions and toolbox talks while reviewing safety plans for quay activities and vessel repairs afloat and docking. Identify unsafe situations, ensure proper incident reporting, and keep the site risk register up to date with operations. Carry out audits and inspections to promote safe behaviors as an ambassador for NINA. Report directly to the Site Manager and SHEQ Engineer from Offshore Energy – Fleet Management. Based in Waalhaven, Rotterdam, this full-time role requires 2–5 years of SHEQ experience and fluency in Dutch and English.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of SHEQ experience
- MVK, NEBOSH, or similar qualification
- VCA VOL, or willingness to obtain it at short notice
- Good command of English and Dutch
- Dutch is essential for this role due to day-to-day compliance with Dutch legislation and communication with local authorities
- Fulltime job (40 hours a week)
